ScoringEdit

The scoring system in Soul Sacrifice is based on actions taken by the player during a specific pact/mission. After the successful completion of a pact, the player is ranked and given rewards based on his/her score.

In Soul Sacrifice Delta the ability for players to choose a faction to align with comes with a change to scoring. The system used in the original game still applies to players of the Avalon and Sanctuarium factions; scoring however does not apply to players opting into the Grimm faction, instead rewards are given randomly depending on 'luck'.

Soul Sacrifice Delta also includes the ability to boost scores by using rumours such as the 'Lavish rumour'.

For Soul Sacrifice, the possible rankings are (in order from best to worst):

  • Legendary Sorcerer
  • First-rate Sorcerer
  • Second-rate Sorcerer
  • Third-rate Sorcerer
  • Sorcerer in Training

A 'Divine Sorcerer' ranking was also available in US copies of the first game; this ranking was covered by the 'Legendary Sorcerer' ranking in PAL/JP copies, as a result the 'Third-rate Sorcerer' was not present in US copies and those above it were moved a rank down. This is how the ranking appeared (Divine > Legendary > First-rate > Second-rate > Sorcerer in Training). The Divine ranking was removed in update 2.0 making both versions ranking systems identical.

Infernal Hell 10 Inflict "Burn" on an Archfiend.
Frozen Hell 10 Inflict "Freeze" on an Archfiend.
Shocking Hell 10 Inflict "Shock" on an Archfiend.
Venomous Hell 10 Inflict "Poison" on an Archfiend.
Petrified Hell 10 Inflict "Petrify" on an Archfiend.
First Attack 20 Deal damage to an enemy before taking any damage (excluding blood spells cost and saving allies).
Ally Sacrifice 30 Sacrifice an ally.
To Be Sacrificed 80 Be sacrificed.
Archfiend Sacrifice 30 Sacrifice an Archfiend.
Attack Cursed Part 30 Attack an Archfiend's cursed part (can be seen with Mind's Eye).
Destroy Cursed Part 50 Destroy an Archfiend's cursed part (can be seen with Mind's Eye, red spots). Indicated by black blood spewing out of the cursed part.
Destroy All Cursed Parts 70 Destroy all of an Archfiend's cursed parts. Amount remaining is indicated by the red spots on the Archfiend while using Mind's Eye.
Counter 30 Damage a creature within its attack animation before getting hit.
Many Counters 30 Perform three counters.
Counter Madness 50 Perform five counters.
Vulnerability 40 Damage a foul creature (fiend) with its elemental weakness.
Archfiend Vulnerability 50 Damage an Archfiend with its elemental weakness.
Gallantly Protective 50 Receive the least amount of damage (only in multiplayer) (excluding blood spells, saving allies and terrain based damage).
Wickedly Murderous 50 Deal the most amount of damage (only in multiplayer).
Reward Bonus Sigil 20/50 Equip a sigil that gives a fixed number of points per mission. Varies based on level of sigil.
Quick Quest 50 Finish the quest within a given amount of time (varies by quest).
Rapid Quest 80 Finish the quest within a given amount of time (varies by quest).
Godspeed Quest 100 Finish the quest within a given amount of time (varies by quest).
Skillful Attack/Chain Attack 60 Inflict freeze/burn/poison/petrify/paralyze to any enemy then follow up with a lightning for freeze, ice for burn, heat for poison, venom for petrify, or stone for paralyze.
Black Rite 80 Perform a Black Rite.
Light Injuries 80 Finish the quest having been damaged no more than 50% of your maximum health (excluding blood spells, saving allies and terrain based damage).

Nearly Unscathed

100 Finish the quest having been damaged no more than 10% of your maximum health (excluding blood spells, saving allies and terrain based damage).
Unscathed 150

Finish the quest without sustaning any damage (excluding blood spells, saving allies and terrain based damage).

Healer 10 Provide a moderate amount of healing to your allies.
Brilliant Healer 20 Provide a great deal of healing to your allies.
Perfect Healer 30 Provide a godly amount of healing to your allies.
Blocker 10 Halting enemies movement with stasis offering, binding offering, or irregular offering on a brief period.
Brilliant Blocker 20 Halting enemies movement with stasis offering, binding offering, or irregular offering on a longer period.
Perfect Blocker 30 Halting enemies movement with stasis offering, binding offering, or irregular offering on a considerable period.


Soul Sacrifice DeltaEdit

Many awards were carried over from the first game; some remain exact, others recieved name and/or points value changes. The Mind's Eye award has been removed completely from Soul Sacrifice Delta, as a result you can no longer get points for activating Mind's Eye during a pact.
